I came to attend performances at the Kennedy Centre so the hotel's location was excellent.
Room 207 (if I recall correctly) needs some maintenance. The small mirror is falling off the bathhroom wall as is the soap dish over the bath tub. The kitchen needs a cutting board and a kettle for we foreign tea drinkers. Appreciated the coffee beans and the grinder.

Arriving at this hotel meant immediate warmth from the staff, who provided really good service, even helping with local car troubles. The room was spacious, with a full kitchen that facilitated easy meal preparation. Nearby grocery shopping added convenience. There is no room service, and a bit more variety in dining options close to the hotel would be beneficial. It's positioned in a peaceful area, a short walk from the Metro. Fresh cream cakes from the restaurant were a good treat .

Spent 4 nights at a cozy place with plenty of warm water for showers and a fantastic galley kitchen for our family. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area and the peace was blissful despite some noise from the street outside. A little more cleaning in the kitchen would've been nice, but the overall experience was terrific 😊

Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Internet was fast and problem free (and free!). Rooms have a superb kitchen that enable cooking meals if desired. Location was perfect - close to subway, Georgetown. Rooms were immaculate, comfortable, luxurious beds. Parking on site - not cheap but that is DC - and very convenient. I would highly recommend it.

The room was large and comfortable. We felt very relaxed and there was no outside noise. The hotel is well situated for public transport and for walking. It is a lovely old district. We slept well!
We needed to use the internet and the connection was incredibly slow. It turned out the next morning that the hotel had been experiencing poor connections for a few days. It would have been good to have been told this when we arrived. We needed a good connection and if we had known we could have gone out to one of their other hotels or to a cafe to do the business we needed to do. As it turns out we missed an opportunity that was quite important to us.

Perfect for a Family Vacation
The staff were amazing, always great. The location was so convenient, just a short walk to all the key spots. I also loved the full kitchen in the room, made things easy with the kids, especially when Whole Foods was just around the corner.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but, you know, for what we got, it was still acceptable.

It was great for us - close to GWU and the Metro. It was as central as we could be for our needs. Whenever we return to DC, we will probably book at "River Inn
